Mini-split systems are a great investment - but they only work as well as the electrical work behind them. A lot of HVAC installs get held up or done sloppy on the electrical side. That's where we come in.
Here's what we were working with: a mini-split outdoor unit that needed a proper dedicated circuit run from the panel, a weatherproof disconnect box mounted on the exterior wall, and a clean line set entry through the brick. Every piece of this had to be done right - both for safety and for the long-term reliability of the system.
The disconnect box is mounted securely to the brick with conduit routed neatly along the wall. That disconnect gives HVAC techs a safe, accessible shutoff point right at the unit - which is a code requirement and just good practice. The conduit work keeps everything protected from the elements, and the line set entry is clean and tight against the house.
This is exactly what a dedicated equipment circuit should look like. No shortcuts, no loose wiring hanging off the unit. When you're putting in a mini-split, the electrical side deserves the same level of care as the HVAC side - and that's what we bring to every job.
We work alongside HVAC crews regularly on installs like this. If your team needs a reliable electrical partner who shows up and does it right the first time, we're the call to make.
