Apartment remodels are a different beast. You're not just updating one room - you're rebuilding an entire living space from the ground up, and the electrical has to keep pace with every other trade on site. That's exactly what Darryl is in the middle of at project 1110.

Here's what we were working with: new lighting throughout, a full panel replacement, and outlet and switch placement coordinated around fresh cabinetry and new walls. Every circuit has to be thought through before the drywall goes up and the cabinets go in. Get that sequencing wrong and you're cutting into finished work later. We don't do that.

The panel work is where it gets real. A remodel like this isn't just swapping out fixtures - it means making sure the electrical service can actually handle what the updated unit demands. That's the part most people don't see, but it's the part that matters most. A properly sized and installed panel means no tripped breakers, no overloaded circuits, and no headaches down the road for the property owner or the tenant.

Outlet and switch placement during a remodel is more detail-oriented than it sounds. You're working around cabinet runs, appliance locations, and code requirements all at once. Getting those boxes set flush and in the right spots before everything closes up is something we take seriously on every job - because fixing it after the fact costs everyone time and money.

This one's still in progress and we'll have more updates to share as it comes together. If you're a property owner or contractor in the Minneapolis area sitting on a remodel or in need of a panel replacement, we're taking on estimates.
