We got to team up with our friends at Genesis Heating and Air on this one - right down the road from us in Savage. They handled the HVAC side, we handled the electrical. That's the kind of collaboration that makes a job go smooth.
When a new AC unit goes in, it needs its own dedicated circuit wired directly from the panel. This isn't something you can just splice into an existing line. The unit has to have clean, reliable power all to itself - otherwise you're looking at tripped breakers, overloaded wiring, or worse.
We ran the conduit tight along the siding, mounted the disconnect box right next to the unit, and made sure everything was up to code before Genesis fired it up. Clean work on both ends. That's how it's supposed to go.
If you're in the Prior Lake or Savage area and you're getting a new AC unit installed this spring, Genesis Heating and Air is who you want for the HVAC side. And when they're done, we'll be right there to get the electrical squared away.
