When Champion Plumbing calls, we show up. We teamed up with our friends over at Champion Plumbing on a water heater installation - and our job was to run a brand new dedicated circuit to power it right.

Here's what most homeowners don't realize: a water heater needs its own dedicated circuit. You can't just tap into an existing one. Doing it wrong is a code violation and a fire hazard. So before that new unit ever heats a drop of water, the electrical has to be done correctly.

We started at the panel. This Square D load center already had some handwritten circuit labeling on the door - the kind of thing we see all the time in older homes. Before adding anything, we mapped out what was already there, identified the available capacity, and pinpointed exactly where the new breaker needed to go. No guessing. No shortcuts.

Once the panel work was sorted, we ran the new circuit - clean, armored wiring routed through the utility space and landed right at the water heater. The whole thing was done the same day as the plumbing install. The client was surprised. We weren't - this is exactly the kind of coordination that makes a job go smoothly for everyone involved.

If you've got a water heater install coming up, loop in your electrician before the plumber shows up. Better yet, call Champion Plumbing and then call us. We'll make sure the electrical side is handled right, the same day, without holding up the job.
